Contrast creates intensity
Black and white are the foundation of my visual language.
For me, contrast is not just a style choice. It gives the feeling more force. It makes the work sharper, deeper and harder to ignore.
When I use a bold accent color, often red, it is there to intensify the emotion.
Texture gives it body
Texture turns the feeling into something physical.
It gives the painting depth, weight and presence. You do not only see the work from a distance — you feel that it has a surface, a body, a life in the room.
A question opens the work
My paintings do not have traditional titles. They come with questions.
I believe a question leaves space. It does not close the meaning down. It lets you meet the painting differently depending on where you are in your life.
The same question can feel different on different days.
Sound deepens the experience
Each painting comes with its own sound piece.
The sound is created for the same feeling as the painting. It gives you another way to enter the work — not only through what you see, but through what you hear and feel.
The sound is accessible through a QR code on the certificate of authenticity.
